TaaDaa... Drum roll please...

It's been a long time coming... considering I actually started this quilt last year!! But... today, I finished it...
My "Blue Squares" quilt has been laying around for almost 2 weeks now, waiting for me to finish (Well, start!!) the hand binding...

I had to wash it a couple of times... due to a slight dye run... but all is well that ends well...


I absolutely LOVE IT!!

Quilt as you go is definitely the way to go for me from now on...


You can see on the back where I have quilted it in panels... If I had used blue panel strips, you wouldn't even be able to tell!! I however, like the contrast of the white strips.


Here it is... all washed, and dried and ready for a snuggle... Oooh... crinkly goodness!!

  2. I've been waiting to see how this turned out and boy it was worth the wait!!! I must have one now! :) Looks like it's back to the shops for some blue fabrics this time.
    Is this your pattern? Did you mitre each corner or is attatch top and bottom first then sides? sorry but as I said it is absolutely beautiful and I must have one! x Paula
